Operations Manager| Social Media Marketing | NASM-CPT
As part of the generation that watched social media platforms become popular, Kathryn has always held an interest for social media. She loves taking photographs of important moments. Combining her passions for social media and photography and a BA in Sports Management as Altius' Social Media Lead and Operations Manager. Originally, Kathryn heard about Altius through her fiancé and Tristan. She quickly recognized that Altius was special: everyone who walks through the doors is cared for, and the company cultivates a family-like atmosphere.
Each day looks a little different for Kathryn. She’s the first face you see when you walk into Altius, and she divides her time between training and spends the other half of the day working on social media, creating and executing company objectives. This involves filming athletes and trainers for video content, graphic design, editing, and staying on top of social media trends.
As much as she enjoys the variety in her days, Kathryn’s favorite part of her job is that she gets to be creative every single day. She loves that there is always room to improve within both the social media marketing field, as well as the wellness industry.

Background
Growing up, Kathryn was a multi-sport athlete, but soccer had a special place in her heart. She started playing when she was 5 years old, and played on travel teams such as Rochester Futbol Club and Doug Miller Soccer Club. She grew up in Bergen, NY, and spent most of her weekends traveling with her mom up and down the the East Coast for soccer tournaments. Kathryn ended up receiving an athletic and academic scholarship to play DII soccer as a Midfielder. Kathryn graduated from Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina in 2017 with a degree in Sports Management. She currently holds her NASM-CPT and is looking to currently advance her knowledge.
Outside of Work
Kathryn and her fiancé, Merek, love to hike with their Australian shepherds, Onyx and Ophelia. She also loves trying new foods spots, sports, traveling, painting, lifting, and of course, soccer.
Fun fact: Kathryn played violin for 5 years.
